About ManyHand

Last updated: October 2026

What this site is

ManyHand is a collection of about a hundred free tools that open in a web page and do one job each: build a resume, merge a PDF, work out a loan, tune a guitar, split a trip bill, print a coloring page. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign in to. You open the page, do the job and leave.

How the tools work

Every tool is a self-contained page that runs inside your own browser. When you compress a photo, sign a PDF or type your salary into a calculator, the work is done by your phone or computer. The file or the figures are not sent to us, because there is no server behind the site to send them to — ManyHand is a set of static files.

That has three practical effects. Your documents stay private. The tools keep working on a slow connection once the page has loaded, and a few of them, such as the coloring app and the party games, work with no connection at all. And nothing is held back behind an account, a watermark or a daily limit.

The one exception is Speech to Text, which relies on your browser's own speech recognition; in most browsers that sends audio to the browser maker to be transcribed. The privacy policy explains this and every other detail of what is and is not collected.

What you will find here

The full list, searchable and in alphabetical order, is on the All tools page.

What the tools have in common

Each tool does one job on one page, with the result on the same screen as the inputs. The pages are built to work on a phone as well as on a desktop. Where a tool produces a file — a PDF, an image, a Word document, a MIDI file — the file is built in your browser and downloaded straight to your device.

Many of the tools were built with users in India in mind — GST, EMI and rent receipts, typing in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, and instruments for Hindustani and Carnatic music — but nothing is limited by country.

How accurate the tools are

The calculators are built for planning. A loan, tax or budget figure from this site is an estimate from the numbers you entered: a lender's statement or a tax professional's figure is the one that counts. The Blood Test Finder helps you prepare for a conversation with a doctor or a lab and is not medical advice. The terms of use say this more formally.

If you find a result that is wrong, please tell us which tool, what you entered and what you expected, so it can be checked and corrected.

How the site is paid for

The tools are free to use, and there is no paid tier or premium version. The site is paid for by advertising through Google AdSense. We ask Google not to personalise those ads, we do not sell or share personal information, and no ad appears on the coloring screen that children use.
