Job Quote & Bill Maker
For electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters and every other trade: write the quotation on your phone, send it, then turn it into the bill and the receipt.
This browser is not keeping what you type (a private window, or its storage is full). Download the PDF before you close the page.
Your business
These details are typed once and stay on this device for every job. The logo is printed on the PDF and the picture.
The headings, the sums, the date and the amount in words are printed in this language. What you type is printed as you typed it.
No lines yet. Tap a job above, or add a line of your own.
Your rate card
Every rate you type on a line is remembered here for this trade, on this device, and filled in the next time you add that line. Change a rate here to change what is filled in from now on.
Nothing yet — rates appear here as you type them on your lines.
This prints a simple bill with the tax as one line. It is not laid out as a formal tax invoice, such as a GST tax invoice. If you are registered for tax, ask your accountant what your invoice must carry.

Tap the paper to see it full size.
When the work is done, turn this quotation into a bill. The lines and rates stay as they are, and you can still change them — for extra work, or for materials at their real cost.
{link} becomes the link to the paper.
See it as your customer will ↗ · The whole paper is inside the link; nothing is stored on a server. The link does not carry your logo — the PDF and the picture do.
Measure each run of wire or pipe and add it here. The sum adds them up, puts your spare allowance on top, and counts the coils or lengths to buy.
What you saw on the visit, room by room. These notes are for you: they print on the Materials list, never on the quotation or the bill.
These sums only add up the sizes you type. They do not choose a wire size, a pipe size, a breaker or a mix — that is your call and your local code's.
No job matches.
Jobs are kept in this browser on this device only. A backup file is the way to move them to another phone, or to keep them safe if the browser's data is cleared.
How it works
- Pick your trade. There are seven: Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Painter, AC & fridge technician, Mason & tile work, and Handyman / other. Each one brings its own list of common jobs and common materials.
- Fill in “Your business” once. Your name or the business's name, what you do, your phone, and if you like an address, a tax number, a logo, how customers can pay you, and one of six colours for your papers. These stay on this device and go on every paper you make.
- Type the customer and the job. The customer's name and phone, the site address, and the job in one line — “Rewiring of the first floor”.
- Add the lines. Under Work and materials, tap a job in the list to add it as a line, then type the quantity and your rate. + Labour line and + Material line add a line of your own.
- Send it. The paper on the page is the finished quotation. Send it as a PDF, as a picture, or as a link by WhatsApp, text message or e-mail.
There is no “save” button. Everything is kept as you type, in this browser, and the job is in Your jobs when you come back.
Lines, quantities and rates
A line is one piece of work or one material: a description, a quantity, a unit, and a rate. The amount is the quantity multiplied by the rate. Labour lines are printed first and materials after them, each under its own heading, and the paper shows the two subtotals when a job has both.
| You type | The paper shows |
|---|---|
Quantity 6, unit point, rate 350 | 6 point × 350 = 2,100 |
| No quantity, rate 4,500 | A lump sum of 4,500. An empty quantity counts as one. |
| Quantity 12, no rate | A dash in place of the rate and the amount. The line adds nothing to the total, and the page warns you that it has no rate yet. |
The unit box suggests nos, point, job, visit, hour, day, ft, rft, m, sq ft, sq m, kg, litre, bag, box, coil and others, and takes any unit of your own up to 12 letters. The Labour or Material button on a line moves it to the other group, and the arrows move it up and down. One paper holds 80 lines.
Your rate card
The lists have no rates in them, on purpose. A rate that is right in one town is wrong in the next, and yours is not your neighbour's. Instead, every rate you type is remembered for that trade on this device. The next time you tap the same job, its rate is already filled in, and the list shows it beside the name. Lines you invent yourself join the list with a dashed outline.
Open Your rate card under the lines to see everything remembered so far, change a rate, or forget one. Changing a rate there changes what is filled in from now on. It does not touch quotations you have already written.
Discount, tax, round off and advance
The sums are always done in the same order: the lines are added up, the discount comes off, the tax is worked out on what is left, and the total can then be rounded to a whole number.
| Step | Example | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Labour and work | 3 fan points at 350, 2 light points at 450 | 1,950.00 |
| Materials | 2 coils at 1,850, 12 switches at 85 | 4,720.00 |
| Subtotal | 6,670.00 | |
| Discount 5% | 5% of 6,670 | −333.50 |
| GST 18% | 18% of 6,336.50 | 1,140.57 |
| Round off | 7,477.07 to the nearest whole number | −0.07 |
| Total | Rupees Seven Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Seven Only | 7,477.00 |
The discount can be a percentage or a plain amount. The tax can be given any name and any rate; with rupees chosen it starts as GST, with buttons for 5% and 18%. The total is also written in words — in lakh and crore for rupees, in thousands and millions for the other nine currencies. Advance to start work prints under the total of a quotation; the 50% button fills in half the total.
The tax is printed as one line. This is a simple bill, not a GST tax invoice: it has no HSN or SAC codes and does not split the tax into CGST and SGST. If you are registered for tax, ask your accountant what your invoice must carry. To work out a tax split, use the GST Calculator.
From quotation to bill to receipt
A job starts as a quotation with the next number in your series: Q-001, Q-002 and so on. Type a number of your own, such as SE/2026/0250, and the next job follows it with 0251.
When the work is done, tap Make the bill for this job. The job gets a bill number (B-001 onwards) and today's date, and its status moves to Work done. The lines stay as they are, and you can still change them — to add extra work the customer asked for, or to put in the real cost of materials.
Under Money received, add each payment with its date and how it was paid: cash, UPI, bank transfer, cheque or card. An advance can be recorded before there is a bill. The bill then prints the amount received and the balance due. Once a payment is recorded, the Receipt paper is available: it says who paid, the sum in figures and words, each payment, and what is still due. When the balance reaches zero the job is marked Paid.
Quotations in Malayalam and Hindi
Under Customer and job, Language of the paper has three choices: English, മലയാളം and हिन्दी. The choice belongs to the job, so one customer can get a Malayalam quotation and the next an English one. A new job starts in the language you used last.
| Printed in the language you choose | Printed as you typed it |
|---|---|
| The name of the paper: ക്വട്ടേഷൻ, ബിൽ, രസീത് — कोटेशन, बिल, रसीद | Your business name and what you do |
| The headings and column names: number, date, customer, job, description, quantity, unit, rate, amount | The customer's name and address, and the job |
| The sums: labour, materials, subtotal, discount, total, advance, received, balance | Every line of work and material, and its unit |
| The date: 8 ഒക്ടോബർ 2026, 8 अक्टूबर 2026 | Your terms and notes, and how to pay you |
| The amount in words: ഏഴായിരത്തി നാനൂറ്റി എഴുപത്തിയേഴ് രൂപ മാത്രം — सात हज़ार चार सौ सतहत्तर रुपये मात्र | The name you gave the tax, such as GST |
The message that goes with the link is written in the same language, and so are the buttons on the page your customer opens. The figures stay in ordinary digits. The amount is written in Malayalam or Hindi words when the money is rupees; in any other currency the words stay in English.
The ready-made lists of jobs, materials and notes are in English, as most trades name them. To have a line in your own language, type it yourself: it is printed as typed, and it is remembered in your rate card with its rate, so you type it only once. This page — the boxes and buttons you work with — stays in English.
Sending it to the customer
| Way | What the customer gets | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Share the PDF | An A4 PDF, with your logo | On a phone it opens the share sheet, so the file goes straight into a WhatsApp chat. On a computer it is saved to your downloads. |
| Share picture | A 1747 × 2471 picture of each page, with your logo | Shows in the chat without being opened. |
| WhatsApp, text message, e-mail | Your message with a link in it | The link opens the paper on a page with buttons to download the PDF and, when your phone number is on the paper, to call you and — for a quotation — to accept it by WhatsApp. |
The whole paper is packed inside the link, so nothing is stored on a server and the link keeps working. Two things follow from that. The link cannot carry your logo; the PDF and the picture do. And if you change the job later, a link you have already sent still shows the old paper, so send it again.
The WhatsApp button opens the customer's own chat when their number starts with + and the country code. A ten-digit number is taken as an Indian one when your money is in rupees. Otherwise WhatsApp opens and you pick the chat.
The materials list and the job-site sums
The Materials paper is the shopping list: every material line with its quantity and unit, a box to tick and room for a brand, and no prices. Send it to the shop, or print it for the helper.
Three sums save the back of an envelope. Each has a button that adds its answer to the quotation as a line.
- Paint area — twice the length plus the width, times the height, gives the walls. The doors and windows come off, the ceiling is added if you tick it, and the answer is multiplied by the number of coats. Type what one litre covers, from the tin, and it gives the litres as well.
- Tiles — the area divided by the size of one tile, plus your percentage for cutting and breakage (it starts at 10), rounded up to whole tiles and whole boxes.
- Wire and pipe lengths — the runs you measured added together, plus your spare percentage, and the number of coils or lengths to buy.
Site notes keep what you saw on the visit, room by room. They print on the Materials list only, never on the customer's papers.
What it does not do
It does not suggest a price. It does not choose a wire size, a pipe size, a breaker or a mix, and it does not check your work against any code. Those are your trade and your responsibility. The sums only add up the sizes you type.
It does not keep your jobs anywhere but this browser. They are not on your other phone, and they are lost if the browser's data is cleared. Back up to a file saves every job, your business details and your rate card in one file; Bring back from a file on another device adds the jobs that are not already there.
It does not collect payments or chase them. The balance in Your jobs is there so that you can.
How do I make a quotation on my phone?
Pick your trade, type your business name and the customer's name, then tap the jobs you will do and type the quantity and your rate for each. The quotation builds itself on the page with the total in figures and words. Tap Share the PDF to send it by WhatsApp, or Download PDF to keep it.
Does it suggest rates for electrical or plumbing work?
No. The lists of common jobs and materials have no rates in them, because rates differ from town to town. The tool remembers each rate you type and fills it in the next time you add the same line, so your own rate card builds up as you work.
Can I turn a quotation into a bill?
Yes. Open the job and tap Make the bill for this job. The bill takes the next bill number and today's date and keeps all the lines, which you can still change. Record payments under Money received, and the bill shows the amount received and the balance due.
Is this a GST tax invoice?
No. It prints a simple bill with the tax as a single line. It has no HSN or SAC codes and no CGST and SGST split. If you are registered for GST, ask your accountant what your tax invoice must contain.
Where are my quotations and bills saved?
In this browser on this device only. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Use Back up to a file to keep a copy or to move your jobs to another phone.
What does the customer see when they open the link?
The same paper you see, drawn on an A4 page, with buttons to download it as a PDF, save it as a picture and print it. When your phone number is on the paper there is a button to call you, and a quotation has a button that opens WhatsApp with a message accepting it. The link does not carry your logo; the PDF does.
Can I make a quotation in Malayalam or Hindi?
Yes. Under Customer and job, set Language of the paper to Malayalam or Hindi. The headings, the names of the columns and sums, the date and the amount in words are then printed in that language, and so is the message that goes with the link. Whatever you type — names, lines of work, notes — is printed as you typed it, so type those in your language too.
Can I use it outside India?
Yes. Under Your business, choose the money: rupees, dollars, pounds, euros, dirhams, riyals, ringgit or taka. The tax can be given any name and rate, and totals in other currencies are written in thousands and millions.
