Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

The short version

ManyHand is a collection of free browser tools. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to. The tools run inside your own browser: the text you type, the files you open and the documents you generate are processed on your device and are not sent to us. We do not have a server that stores your content, because there is nothing behind the site but static files.

What we do use is Google Analytics to count visits, Google AdSense to show ads, and Google Fonts to load typefaces. Those are covered in detail below, along with the handful of tools that ask for a device permission and the one tool where your voice does leave your device.

Who we are

ManyHand is operated at manyhand.com. For anything in this policy, write to hello@manyhand.com.

What we do not collect

How the tools handle your content

Everything is processed in your browser

Each tool is a self-contained page. When you compress an image, merge a PDF, build a resume or work out a loan, the file or the figures stay in your browser's memory and the result is produced there. Nothing is transmitted to us and there is no upload step, even when a tool hands you a finished PDF to download.

Some tools remember your work on your own device

So you do not lose what you were doing, these tools save your entries in your browser's local storage. That is a store inside your own browser; it is never transmitted anywhere, and it is not visible to us or to anyone else using a different device.

You can wipe all of it at any time by clearing site data for manyhand.com in your browser settings. Some tools, such as the Resume Builder, also have their own “Clear all” button.

Tools that ask for a device permission

A few tools need access to a sensor to work. Your browser will always ask you first, and you can refuse. The readings are used live on the page and are not recorded or sent anywhere.

One exception: Speech to Text

The Speech to Text tool uses your browser's own speech recognition feature. In most browsers — including Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge — that feature is not performed on your device: your browser sends the audio to the browser maker's servers (Google or Microsoft) to be transcribed, and returns the text. We never receive the audio or the transcript, and we store neither, but the audio does leave your device, and how it is handled is governed by that company's privacy policy rather than by this one. If you would rather that did not happen, do not use that particular tool.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5WBLTXMJQP) to see how many people visit, which tools get used and roughly where visitors are — at a country and city level derived from the IP address, never a precise location. We use this in aggregate to decide what to build next. We do not attempt to identify individuals, and we do not upload any content you enter into a tool as an analytics event.

Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode v2, and what it does depends on where you are:

If you have previously made a choice on this site, your choice is stored in your browser under the key ajz-consent and it overrides the regional default above. You can remove it by clearing site data. You can also opt out of Google Analytics in any browser using Google's opt-out add-on.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Google and its partners may set cookies or read device identifiers in order to serve and measure those ads. We do not give Google, or any advertiser, the content you enter into a tool.

Through Consent Mode we set Google's advertising signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization — to denied for every visitor, which asks Google not to use advertising cookies or to personalise ads based on you. You can review and change what Google does with your data across all sites at My Ad Center, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Fonts

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Requesting a font sends your IP address and browser details to Google, as any request to any server does. Google states it does not use these requests to create advertising profiles.

Your rights

Because we hold no accounts and no copies of your content, there is generally nothing for us to look up, export or erase — the data lives on your device and you can delete it yourself by clearing site data for manyhand.com.

Where data protection law gives you rights over information that Google processes as a result of your visit — under the GDPR or UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or the CCPA — those are exercised through the Google controls linked above, or by writing to us at hello@manyhand.com so we can help you direct the request.

Children

Most of ManyHand is intended for a general audience. One section, Coloring Pages, is made for children and families, and it is handled differently from the rest of the site:

The ABC Fun! kindergarten app and its chart and story pages under /kindergarten/ are made for children too:

We do not ask children for a name, an email address or any other personal information, anywhere on the site, and we do not knowingly collect it.

Links to other sites

Some pages link out to other sites — for example OpenStreetMap, Calligraphr or ajenza.com. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site and their privacy policy applies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts doing something materially different with your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
