Why a form rejects a picture that looks fine
Forms usually check two things: the size in pixels and the size of the file. A quality slider only moves the file size, so you end up guessing, saving and checking again. This tool does that search for you. It tries different qualities and stops at the best one that fits the limit.
A small signature can also be too small. On a clean white background, a 140 × 60 pixel signature may stay under the 10 KB minimum even at the best quality. Lowering the quality cannot fix that. The tool adds empty bytes to the file until it passes. The picture stays exactly the same.
How the KB limit is met
Some forms count a kilobyte as 1,000 bytes and others as 1,024, and they do not say which. So the tool aims for the band that passes both. A 20–50 KB limit becomes at least 20,580 bytes and at most 49,900 bytes.
How to use it
- Choose your exam, then the file you need: photo, signature, thumb or declaration.
- Choose a picture from your phone or computer. A phone photo of your signature on white paper is enough.
- Drag and zoom until it sits right in the box. Signatures are framed and cleaned for you.
- Check the ticks beside the result, then download the file.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The picture is processed by your own browser and never leaves your device. You can check by turning off your internet after the page loads: the tool still works.
Will my form accept the file?
The tool can promise the pixels, the KB and the JPG format, because it reads them back from the finished file. It cannot judge what a form checks by eye, such as your face, your background or how recent the photo is.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Tap to choose a picture or take one with your camera, then drag with one finger and pinch to zoom.
Why does the tool give a size in KB that differs from my computer?
Windows and most phones count 1 KB as 1,024 bytes. The tool shows the same count, so the number should match what you see in your file properties.
Which exams are covered?
JEE Main, NEET UG, UGC NET, CTET, SSC, Railways (RRB), IBPS, SBI, UPSC, TNPSC and Kerala PSC. For anything else, choose My own size and type in the limits from your notice.
