Itinerary Planner
Lay out your trip day by day, with times and notes.
How to plan a trip day by day
- Give the trip a name at the top.
- Tap Add day for each day and name it with the date or the place, for example “Day 3 · Kyoto”.
- Inside each day, add an activity with a time and a short note, then tap the plus button. Activities sort themselves by time, so you can add them in any order.
- When the plan is ready, tap Print / Save PDF and choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog to keep a copy that works without a connection.
What to put in each day
A useful itinerary answers “where do I need to be, and when?” at a glance. For each day, note:
- Fixed times first — flights, trains, check-in and check-out, timed entry tickets and anything booked. These cannot move, so everything else fits round them.
- Where you are sleeping, with the address and the booking reference in the note.
- Two or three main things to do, not ten. Leave the rest of the day loose.
- Meals worth planning — a restaurant that needs a reservation, or a long drive with few places to stop.
Planning times that hold up
- Allow for getting there. Check the travel time between two places on a map and add a third again for finding the entrance, queues and wrong turns.
- Check opening days. Many museums and monuments close one day a week, and markets and temples keep their own hours.
- Go light on arrival and departure days. After a flight or a long train journey, half a day is realistic.
- Group by area. Put places that are close together on the same day rather than crossing the city twice.
- Leave one gap every few days for rest, bad weather, or something you discover when you get there.
Crossing time zones
Write every time in the local time of the place where it happens — that is how tickets and bookings show it. For flights that cross several zones, the Time Zone Converter shows what a departure or arrival time is back home, which helps when someone is meeting you.
Keeping and sharing the plan
The itinerary is saved in this browser on this device and is not uploaded, so it is not visible on your other devices. The PDF is the copy to share: send it to the people travelling with you and to someone at home, and keep it on your phone for when there is no signal. Pair it with the Packing List and the Trip Budget Planner.
Turn a rough plan into a clear schedule. Add a day for each day of your trip, then drop in activities with a time and a note — sightseeing, meals, check-ins, trains. Everything sorts by time so your day reads top to bottom. Print it or save as PDF to carry offline.
Can I use it for multi-city trips?
Yes — name each day (e.g. "Day 3 · Kyoto") and add that day's plans. There's no limit on days or activities.
Is my plan private?
Yes, it's stored only in your browser on this device.
