SSC Signature Resizer
SSC takes your photo live inside the form, so the signature is the only picture to prepare. Get it to 10–20 KB here.

Both notices give the signature as a JPEG or JPG of 10 to 20 KB, and say a blurred signature will be rejected. PwD (VH) candidates are also allowed a thumb impression.
The notice gives two sizes
The main text of the CGL and CHSL 2026 notices says about 6.0 cm × 2.0 cm. The how-to-apply annexure of the same notices says about 4.0 cm × 2.0 cm. Both say “about”, and the file size is the same, so both tabs are offered. Start with 6 × 2 cm, which the notices state more often. Use 4 × 2 cm if the upload screen asks for it.
There is no SSC photo to resize
Many websites still list a 20–50 KB SSC photo. In the 2026 notices the photo is not uploaded from a file. You capture it live through a webcam or a phone, with no cap, mask or glasses, in good light against a plain background, with your face fully inside the marked area. If your webcam does not work, the notice gives a QR code for a phone app.
What is the SSC signature size?
10 to 20 KB in JPEG or JPG format, about 6.0 cm wide and 2.0 cm high. An annexure in the same notice says about 4.0 cm wide.
What is the SSC photo size in KB?
The 2026 CGL and CHSL notices give none, because the photo is captured live in the form and not uploaded as a file.
Can I wear glasses in the SSC photo?
No. The notices say not to wear a cap, mask or glasses while capturing the photo.
Why was my SSC signature rejected?
The notices name blurred and miniature signatures. Make sure the writing fills the box and stays sharp. The Clean the paper option helps with a dark or uneven phone photo.
