Kerala PSC Photo with Name and Date

Kerala PSC asks for your name and the date printed at the bottom of your photo. Add them here and resize for your Thulasi profile.

What Kerala PSC says

Notifications say the name of the candidate and the date the photograph was taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. If you are creating a new profile, the photo must have been taken within six months. A photo that meets the rules stays valid for 10 years from the day it is uploaded.

About the pixels and KB

The notifications do not give pixels or KB, so the numbers below come from guides that agree with each other, not from Kerala PSC. Check them on your Thulasi upload page. If they differ, choose My own size and type in what the page says.

UploadThis tool makesFile sizeRule
Photo150 × 200 pxunder 30 KBYour name and the date the photo was taken go at the bottom.

The Thulasi home page has its own Resize Photograph/Signature link. If your photo does not already show your name and date, add them here first.

Adding the name and date

  1. Choose your photo and place your face inside the oval.
  2. Type your name as it appears on your documents.
  3. Pick the date the photo was taken, not today’s date, if they differ.
  4. Check that both lines can be read in the result, then download.

At 150 pixels wide there is little room, so a long name is printed smaller. If it becomes hard to read, use your initials the way your documents show them.
