🌬️ The Sun and the Wind

The Wind and the Sun had a friendly argument. 'I am the strongest!' boomed the Wind. 'No, I am,' smiled the Sun warmly. Just then they saw a man walking in a thick coat. 'Whoever can take off his coat is the winner,' they agreed. The Wind blew first — WHOOSH! — cold and hard. But the man only pulled his coat tighter and tighter. Then it was the Sun's turn. She shone down soft and warm and golden. Soon the man felt nice and toasty. 'Phew, it is warm!' he said, and took off his coat himself. Gentle kindness can do what strong force cannot.

हवा और सूरज में दोस्ताना बहस हुई। 'मैं सबसे बलवान हूँ!' हवा गरजी। 'नहीं, मैं हूँ,' सूरज गरमजोशी से मुस्कुराया। तभी उन्होंने मोटा कोट पहने एक आदमी को चलते देखा। 'जो इसका कोट उतरवा दे, वही जीता,' उन्होंने तय किया। पहले हवा चली — सूँ! — ठंडी और तेज़। पर आदमी ने कोट और कस के पकड़ लिया। फिर सूरज की बारी आई। वह नरम, गरम और सुनहरा चमका। जल्द ही आदमी को मीठी गरमी लगी। 'उफ़, कितनी गरमी है!' उसने ख़ुद ही कोट उतार दिया। नरम दया वह कर सकती है जो तेज़ ताक़त नहीं।

കാറ്റും സൂര്യനും തമ്മിൽ ഒരു സൗഹൃദ തർക്കം. 'ഞാനാണ് ഏറ്റവും ശക്തൻ!' കാറ്റ് ഇരമ്പി. 'അല്ല, ഞാനാണ്,' സൂര്യൻ ഊഷ്മളമായി പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ കട്ടിയുള്ള കോട്ടണിഞ്ഞ് നടക്കുന്ന ഒരാളെ കണ്ടു. 'ആര് അയാളുടെ കോട്ട് അഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നോ അവൻ ജയിക്കും,' അവർ സമ്മതിച്ചു. ആദ്യം കാറ്റ് വീശി — വൂഷ്! — തണുപ്പും ശക്തിയും. പക്ഷേ അയാൾ കോട്ട് കൂടുതൽ മുറുക്കിപ്പിടിച്ചു. പിന്നെ സൂര്യന്റെ ഊഴം. അവൾ മൃദുവായി, ഊഷ്മളമായി, സ്വർണനിറത്തിൽ തിളങ്ങി. ഉടനെ അയാൾക്ക് നല്ല ചൂടുതോന്നി. 'അയ്യോ, എന്തൊരു ചൂട്!' അയാൾ സ്വയം കോട്ട് അഴിച്ചു. ശക്തിക്ക് കഴിയാത്തത് സൗമ്യ ദയയ്ക്ക് കഴിയും.
