🐘 The Kind Elephant

By a wide, rushing river lived a big, strong elephant. The little animals wanted to reach the sweet fruit on the other side, but the water was deep and scary. 'I can help!' said the kind elephant. She knelt down low. 'Climb onto my back.' One by one she carried the rabbit, the squirrel, and the chirping birds safely across. 'Thank you, thank you!' they sang, munching the juicy fruit. The gentle elephant felt warm and happy inside. Soon the whole forest loved their big, helpful friend. When you are kind, everyone wants to be your friend.

एक चौड़ी, तेज़ बहती नदी के पास एक बड़ा, बलवान हाथी रहता था। छोटे जानवर उस पार के मीठे फल तक पहुँचना चाहते थे, पर पानी गहरा और डरावना था। 'मैं मदद करता हूँ!' दयालु हाथी बोला। वह नीचे झुका। 'मेरी पीठ पर चढ़ जाओ।' एक-एक करके उसने खरगोश, गिलहरी और चहचहाती चिड़ियों को सुरक्षित पार कराया। 'धन्यवाद, धन्यवाद!' वे रसीले फल खाते हुए गाने लगे। नरम हाथी को अंदर से बहुत अच्छा लगा। जल्द ही पूरा जंगल अपने बड़े, मददगार दोस्त को चाहने लगा। जब तुम दयालु होते हो, सब तुम्हारे दोस्त बनना चाहते हैं।

വീതിയുള്ള, ഒഴുകുന്ന ഒരു പുഴയ്ക്കരികെ വലിയ, ശക്തനായ ഒരു ആന ജീവിച്ചു. കൊച്ചു മൃഗങ്ങൾക്ക് അക്കരെയുള്ള മധുരപ്പഴം വേണമായിരുന്നു, പക്ഷേ വെള്ളം ആഴവും പേടിയുമായിരുന്നു. 'ഞാൻ സഹായിക്കാം!' ദയയുള്ള ആന പറഞ്ഞു. അവൾ താഴ്ന്നിരുന്നു. 'എന്റെ മുതുകിൽ കയറൂ.' ഓരോന്നായി മുയലിനെയും അണ്ണാനെയും ചിലയ്ക്കുന്ന പക്ഷികളെയും സുരക്ഷിതമായി കടത്തിവിട്ടു. 'നന്ദി, നന്ദി!' ചാറുള്ള പഴം കഴിച്ച് അവ പാടി. സൗമ്യയായ ആനയ്ക്ക് ഉള്ളിൽ സന്തോഷം തോന്നി. ഉടനെ കാടുമുഴുവൻ വലിയ, സഹായിയായ കൂട്ടുകാരിയെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു. ദയ കാണിച്ചാൽ എല്ലാവരും കൂട്ടുകാരാകാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കും.
