Housewarming Invitation Maker
For a griha pravesh or a new-home party — with a map straight to the door.
Without a link, the guest's “Open map” button searches for the venue and address.
Guests get “I'll be there” and “Can't make it” buttons that open a message to this person.

{name} becomes the guest's name and {link} their invitation.
See it as your guest will ↗ · The invitation is inside the link — nothing is stored on a server.
There is no guest list on this device yet. Add your guests in the Guest List Maker and they appear here, each with their own send buttons.
Each button opens that guest's own message, addressed to them by name. A guest is ticked as invited when you tap one — in the Guest List Maker too. Tap the circle to change it.
The housewarming card
This page opens on the Garland design: a string of marigolds and mango leaves across the top, lamps at the foot, in ivory and gold. The big line reads “Housewarming”, with “Our new home is ready” above it and “Please join us and bless our new home” below.
For a ceremony, change the big line to the name you use — “Griha Pravesh”, “Gruhapravesam”, “Palukachal”, “Vastu Shanti” — and the opening line to “With the blessings of the Almighty”. For an evening party with friends rather than a puja, the Party or Modern design and a line like “Come and see the new place” set a different tone.
The address is the whole point
Nobody has been to this house before. Three things make it easy to find.
- Write the address as a delivery driver would need it: flat and block, the building or layout, the road and a landmark. The address box holds 160 characters.
- Paste a map link to the exact spot. New buildings are often missing from maps or pinned in the wrong place. Stand at your gate, drop a pin in Google Maps, tap Share and paste the link into “Map link”. The guest's “Open map” button then opens that pin.
- Use the note for the last hundred metres: “Second left after the temple, cream building, lift on the right. Visitor parking in the basement.”
A ceremony in the morning, a meal after
A griha pravesh usually has a muhurtham early in the day and lunch for a wider circle later. Put the time you want most guests to arrive in “Starts”, and the ceremony time in the note for the family who will come for it: “Puja at 6:15 am for family · lunch from 12:00”.
Who to send it to
A housewarming list is a mix — family, old neighbours, new neighbours, colleagues, the people who built the house. If they are in the Guest List Maker, group them there and send from “Send to your guest list”, where each guest has their own button and is ticked off once sent. For the new neighbours, whose numbers you may not have yet, print a few copies of the PDF at 5 × 7 inches and hand them over in person.
Gifts
If you would rather have none, say so in the note — “Your presence is the gift” — because guests do wonder.
Can I make a griha pravesh invitation?
Yes. Type “Griha Pravesh” (or your own name for it) in the big line. The page opens on a marigold garland design with lamps, which suits a traditional ceremony.
How do guests find the new house?
The invitation has an “Open map” button. Paste a Google Maps link to the exact spot and it opens that pin; without a link it searches for the address you typed.
Can I send it on WhatsApp?
Yes — as a message with the invitation link, or as a picture of the card with “Share the card picture”.
