Baby Shower Invitation Maker
A soft moon-and-stars card for the mum-to-be — sent as a link, with a reply button.
Without a link, the guest's “Open map” button searches for the venue and address.
Guests get “I'll be there” and “Can't make it” buttons that open a message to this person.

There is no guest list on this device yet. Add your guests in the Guest List Maker and they appear here, each with their own send buttons.
Each button opens that guest's own message, addressed to them by name. A guest is ticked as invited when you tap one — in the Guest List Maker too. Tap the circle to change it.
The baby shower card
This page opens on the Moon & stars design — a sleepy moon, hanging stars and a bank of cloud — in sky blue with rounded lettering. The big line already says “Baby Shower”, with “Please join us for a” above it and “to shower the mum-to-be with love” below. Most people change the line under the title to name her: “in honour of Meera”, “for Meera & Arun's little one”.
Choosing a colour
Blue and pink are only two of the ten colours. If the baby's sex is not known, is not being told, or simply is not the point, Sage, Lavender, Sunny and Ivory & gold all sit well with the moon and stars. In India, where a baby's sex is not disclosed before birth, a neutral colour is the natural choice.
A seemantham, godh bharai or valaikappu
The same card serves the traditional ceremonies. Change the big line to the name your family uses — “Seemantham”, “Godh Bharai”, “Valaikappu”, “Dohale Jevan” — and the opening line to “With the blessings of our elders”. The Garland design, with its marigolds and lamps, and the Classic lettering give it a more traditional look than the moon and stars.
Who hosts, and who replies to whom
A shower is often arranged by a sister, a friend or the two mothers rather than by the mum-to-be. Put the hosts in “From” — “Hosted by Anita & Kavya” — and the host's own number under “Replies go to”, so that the replies and the questions about gifts go to the person organising, not to the guest of honour.
What to put in the note
- Whether it is for women only, or whether partners and children are welcome.
- Gifts: a registry link, “no gifts, only blessings”, or “a book for the baby instead of a card”.
- Food: lunch, tea, or a potluck with what to bring.
- Anything guests should bring for a game — a baby photo of themselves, say.
The note is shown under the card when a guest opens the link, and holds up to 500 characters.
When to send it
Showers are usually held six to eight weeks before the due date, and three weeks' notice is enough for most guests. Set “Reply by” a week before, so the host knows how many to cater for.
Can I make a baby shower invitation without saying boy or girl?
Yes. Nothing on the card mentions it, and the colours include Sage, Lavender, Sunny and Ivory & gold as well as blue and pink.
Can I use it for a seemantham or godh bharai?
Yes. Type the ceremony's name in the big line and change the opening line; the Garland design gives it a traditional look.
Who do the replies go to?
To whoever's phone number or e-mail address is entered under “Replies go to” — usually the host, so the mum-to-be is not the one counting replies.
