Engagement Invitation Maker
Announce the engagement and invite the people who should be there.
Without a link, the guest's “Open map” button searches for the venue and address.
Guests get “I'll be there” and “Can't make it” buttons that open a message to this person.

{name} becomes the guest's name and {link} their invitation.
See it as your guest will ↗ · The invitation is inside the link — nothing is stored on a server.
There is no guest list on this device yet. Add your guests in the Guest List Maker and they appear here, each with their own send buttons.
Each button opens that guest's own message, addressed to them by name. A guest is ticked as invited when you tap one — in the Guest List Maker too. Tap the circle to change it.
The engagement card
This page opens on a blush Flowers card with the names in script. It starts with “With joy in our hearts” as the opening line and “invite you to celebrate their engagement” under the names. Type the two names in the big line, then the date, time and place.
An engagement is often hosted by one family. To say so, put the hosts in the “From” box — “The Khan family” — or rewrite the opening line: “Mr & Mrs Khan request your presence at the engagement of their son”.
A ring ceremony, a nischayam, a party
The word on the card should be the one your family uses. Change the line under the names to “for their ring ceremony”, “for the nischayathartham” or “for our betrothal”, whichever is right. For a small party at home rather than a ceremony, the Party or Sparkle design and the Playful lettering change the mood in two taps.
Keeping it small
Engagements usually have a shorter guest list than the wedding that follows, and some people will hear about one without being asked to it. Two things help. Send each invitation by name — type the name in the “To” box and the message and the card both say “Dear Asha & family,” — so it is clear who is included. And if numbers matter, fill in “Replies go to” with your number: guests then say how many of them are coming when they reply.
Timing
Two to three weeks' notice is usual for an engagement, more if close family has to travel. If the wedding date is already fixed, the note for guests is a good place for a “save the date” — “Wedding on 14 February, invitation to follow”. The note is shown under the card and can hold 500 characters.
After the engagement
The invitation you make is kept in this browser. When the wedding comes round, open the wedding invitation page: tapping “Wedding” changes the wording you have not edited to the wedding's, and keeps the names, the people replies go to and anything else you typed.
What should an engagement invitation say?
The couple's names, that it is their engagement, the date and time, the venue and its address, and who to reply to. This page starts with “With joy in our hearts … invite you to celebrate their engagement”, which you can change.
Can I send it only to a few people?
Yes. Nothing is published anywhere: only the people you send the link to can open it. Sending it by name makes clear who is invited.
Can guests reply on WhatsApp?
Yes, if you enter a phone number with its country code under “Replies go to”. Their reply opens in WhatsApp as a message to that number.
