The month is printed in Malayalam too — ഒക്ടോബർ 2026 — and so is the pay date. The form you type in stays in English, so that anyone in the office can fill it in.
The net pay in Malayalam words
For rupees, the net pay is written out in Malayalam: ₹20,500 becomes “ഇരുപതിനായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറ് രൂപ മാത്രം”, and ₹12,500.50 becomes “പന്ത്രണ്ടായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറ് രൂപ അമ്പത് പൈസ മാത്രം”. For any other currency the words stay in English, because the tool only knows the Malayalam words for rupees and paise.

A name is only what is printed beside the amount. If your word for a line is different, tap + An earning of your own or + A deduction of your own and type it. What you type — names, notes, the designation — is printed exactly as typed, in Malayalam, English or both.
When to use Malayalam, and when English
A Malayalam slip is for the person being paid: a shop assistant, a driver, a cook, a nurse's aide, anyone who would rather read their pay in their own language. A bank, a visa office or a landlord outside Kerala will usually want it in English. You can have both: the language belongs to each slip, so change Language of the slip to English, download that PDF, and change it back. The amounts stay; only the labels and the words change.
The Malayalam letters are drawn into the PDF as a picture, so they look the same on every phone and printer. For the same reason, the text in the PDF cannot be selected or copied.
Sending it, and next month
The paper on the page is the finished slip. Download PDF saves it as one A4 page, Share the PDF hands it to WhatsApp or another app on a phone, and WhatsApp sends a link to the phone number typed for the employee. Is the amount in words written in Malayalam?
Yes, for rupees. For example, ₹20,500 is written as “ഇരുപതിനായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറ് രൂപ മാത്രം”. For other currencies the words stay in English.
Do I need a Malayalam keyboard?
Only for what you want to type in Malayalam. The labels are already in Malayalam, and the common line names can be added with a tap. Names and notes can be typed in English.
Can I get the same slip in English for the bank?
Yes. Change the language of the slip to English and download the PDF; the amounts stay as they are. Change it back afterwards if you want the Malayalam one kept.
Will the Malayalam letters print correctly?
Yes. The page is drawn as a picture inside the PDF, so the letters and conjuncts look the same wherever it is opened or printed.
