🌈 The Rainbow Friends

After a rain shower, all the colors began to argue. 'I am the best!' said Red. 'No, I am!' said Blue, Green, and Yellow together. They shouted so loudly that the rain clouds began to cry again. Then the kind Sun peeked out and said, 'Why not work together?' So the colors lined up side by side, one next to the other. Up in the sky they made a beautiful, curving rainbow! All the children looked up and clapped with joy. 'Ooh, how lovely!' Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow smiled at each other. Together we are far more beautiful than alone.

बारिश की फुहार के बाद सारे रंग आपस में बहस करने लगे। 'मैं सबसे अच्छा हूँ!' लाल बोला। 'नहीं, मैं हूँ!' नीला, हरा और पीला एक साथ बोले। वे इतनी ज़ोर से चिल्लाए कि बारिश के बादल फिर रोने लगे। तभी दयालु सूरज झाँककर बोला, 'साथ मिलकर काम क्यों नहीं करते?' तो रंग एक-दूसरे के बगल में कतार में खड़े हो गए। आसमान में उन्होंने एक सुंदर, घुमावदार इंद्रधनुष बनाया! सब बच्चे ऊपर देखकर ख़ुशी से ताली बजाने लगे। 'वाह, कितना प्यारा!' लाल, नीला, हरा और पीला एक-दूसरे को देख मुस्कुराए। साथ में हम अकेले से कहीं ज़्यादा सुंदर हैं।

ഒരു മഴയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം എല്ലാ നിറങ്ങളും തർക്കിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. 'ഞാനാണ് മികച്ചത്!' ചുവപ്പ് പറഞ്ഞു. 'അല്ല, ഞാനാണ്!' നീലയും പച്ചയും മഞ്ഞയും ഒരുമിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ ഉറക്കെ വഴക്കിട്ടതിനാൽ മഴമേഘങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടും കരയാൻ തുടങ്ങി. അപ്പോൾ ദയയുള്ള സൂര്യൻ എത്തിനോക്കി പറഞ്ഞു, 'ഒന്നിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൂടേ?' അങ്ങനെ നിറങ്ങൾ ഒന്നിനൊന്ന് ചേർന്ന് വരിയായി നിന്നു. ആകാശത്ത് അവർ മനോഹരമായ വളഞ്ഞ ഒരു മഴവില്ലുണ്ടാക്കി! കുട്ടികളെല്ലാം മുകളിലേക്ക് നോക്കി സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൈയടിച്ചു. 'ഹായ്, എന്തു ഭംഗി!' ചുവപ്പും നീലയും പച്ചയും മഞ്ഞയും പരസ്പരം പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു. ഒറ്റയ്ക്കുള്ളതിലും എത്രയോ ഭംഗി ഒന്നിച്ചാണ്.
