A patient register that knows your OP hours

1. Choose Doctor's clinic. It starts with a morning and an evening session (9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 5:00 – 8:00 pm, closed on Sunday), a 10-minute grid and token numbers on, with consultation, review visit, first visit, dressing, injection, health check-up and ECG. Set your own OP hours for each day.
2. Add each doctor if more than one sees patients; each gets a column. Patients can be booked with one doctor or with whoever is free.
3. When a patient calls, type their name or the last digits of their phone: a patient seen before is found with their visits. Pick a free time; WhatsApp opens with the confirmation and their token number.

How many patients a session can take

On a 10-minute grid, 9:00 to 1:00 is 24 places and 5:00 to 8:00 is 18 — 42 consultations a day for each doctor. Longer visits take more room. Say Ravi is booked at 9:00 for a consultation (10 minutes), Meera at 9:10 for a first visit (20 minutes) and Joseph at 10:00 (10 minutes). A new 20-minute first visit can then start at 9:30 or 9:40, at any ten minutes from 10:10 to 12:40, or from 5:00 to 7:40 — 35 starting times, and the booking sheet offers exactly those.

Tokens go 1, 2, 3… in the order patients are booked, starting again each day, and appear on the confirmation, the Day and the printed list. A patient who walks in is a Walk-in and takes the next token.

At the front desk

• Here marks a patient as arrived and waiting; Done when the doctor has seen them. The Day shows how many are waiting and how many are done.
• Ten minutes after a booked time with no patient, a No-show button appears. Their record keeps count of missed visits.
• Print gives the day's list on A4 — time, token, name, phone, what for, with which doctor — for the doctor's table or the reception.
• Doctor on leave? Who is in marks them away for the day, or Close this day closes the clinic. Bookings already made stay; open each one to move it, and WhatsApp offers to send the new time.

Review visits and reminders

For a patient who must come back every two weeks or every month, use Repeat on the booking: the same time is booked for as many visits as you say. The evening before, the Day shows how many of tomorrow's patients have not been reminded; tap it, then one tap each opens WhatsApp with the reminder in English, Malayalam or Hindi.

What it is not

This is an appointment and token register. It does not keep prescriptions, diagnoses or medical records — a note on a patient is a reminder for the front desk. It does not take payments, does not send anything by itself, and keeps patient names and phone numbers on this device only, never on a server. Export a file regularly as a backup, and keep it safe: it holds your patients' names and phone numbers.
